Title: Salmonrun
The Salmon sculpture was achieved using multiple mediums. J. Randall first created a size for size clay original of five fish. Molds were created and the shells were laid up with layers of resin and fiberglass. A steel infrastructure was welded for optimum strength and support. Bronze paint was then applied to the surface followed by a patina wash and a sealant to ensure all-weather conditions. Installation was quick and easy and directed personally by the artist.
